You can choose to be happy regardless of what you are currently experiencing in your life. Yes sometimes it can be difficult especially if you are dealing with personal challenges. However happiness is a choice; you can teach yourself to choose to be happy and that in turn will better your life in all areas.
People tend to rely on others to make them happy. While it is true if you are around someone who is constantly in a good mood; it is contagious and you will become excited and happy because you will pick up on that persons energy. Just as if you are around negative people who are always upset for one reason or another; you will pick up on this energy as well. However you can choose the emotions you want to experience; if people you associate with can influence our emotions you can also influence other peoples emotions. Would you rather be around someone who constantly drags you down with negative emotions; or would you rather be around someone who is positive about everything and that energy rubs off on you.
You can learn to choose your emotions; regardless of your current life experiences. No matter what you are experiencing your outside experiences have not control over your current emotions; unless of course you allow them too. You can put this to practice try smiling right now, how do you feel? The minute you put that smile on your face your body feels better and your posture improves. However if you put a frown on your face the opposite happens; you do not feel good and you do not feel great. It all boils down to a choice; what are you going to choose?
Many people tend to let their circumstances influence their thoughts and feelings. People tend to react towards life according to what they are facing. We do not take the time to relax and think about how our thoughts influence what we are currently experiencing in life; we just tend to get upset and angry because things are not going the way we believe they should be. Life is just a choice you can choose to believe and understand that anything you are currently experiencing in your life; you brought it to yourself by the constant thoughts and feelings you focus on.
Remember you can always choose to happiness it is something we can all learn. All you have to do when you are feeling down and upset. Put on a song that you love; before you know it you will begin singing along and dancing. This will switch your feelings and emotions and then your current experiences will not have an influence on your thoughts. This is all a choice; you can either begin taking action and taking control of your thoughts and feelings. Or you can continue living life letting your current circumstances have total control over your life.
Are you going to continue being a victim to life; or are you going to choose to be a victor and believe your happiness is totally up to you?
